We see patients 12 years old and up, we rarely prescribe medication, and we do not offer narcotic pain management.

Symptoms & Conditions Treated by Doctor Hancock

What we offer: Evaluation, imaging orders, labs, in-office EMG nerve testing, and gentle, hands-on muscle and soft tissue treatments for pain, numbness, and tingling. Treatments typically include osteopathic manipulation and trigger point injections and are performed personally by Dr. Hancock in the office.

Symptoms and Diagnoses we help:

Soft tissue (muscles, fascia) and nerve pains, with or without numbness, tingling, or weakness; knots in the muscles (trigger points); degenerative spine and disc disorders; pulled muscles or alignment issues at the spine; and pains involving the shoulder, hip, pelvis, ribcage, arm, leg, head, and jaw or TMJ regions.

We also treat muscular consequences of hypermobility and non-vascular forms of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Many patients seeking care for Ehlers Danlos or EDS (including hEDS, classical EDS, and HSD) find relief through our targeted musculoskeletal approach.

What we do NOT offer:

Dr. Hancock does not personally manage general medical conditions like POTS (blood pressure), autoimmune conditions, MCAS, or IBS. She frequently coordinates with primary care doctors and specialists to ensure integrated care.

If You’ve Been Told “Everything Looks Normal”

Many patients with hypermobility or complex musculoskeletal pain are told their imaging appears normal. However, connective tissue disorders and mechanical dysfunction can still cause significant symptoms even when scans do not reveal obvious abnormalities.

we’re here to answer all your questions

  • Persistent spine pain or recurring joint instability
  • Chronic muscle knots or rib pain during breathing
  • Unexplained tingling, numbness, or jaw clicking

Hypermobility may cause joint instability, frequent sprains, chronic musculoskeletal pain, and muscle fatigue.

Yes. The temporomandibular joint relies heavily on connective tissue and may develop clicking, instability, or TMJ pain in people with hypermobility.

TMJ dysfunction may be caused by inflammation, abnormal jaw movement, muscle tension, or joint structural problems.
